Jake Wong obtained his bachelor’s degree from the Academy of Visual Arts at Hong Kong Baptist University in 2020. His inspirations come from personal emotions, expressing the inner emotions in a rational way, while attempting to explore a balance point between the two. He focuses on the meticulousness and subtlety of the painting surface and uses various painting techniques, simple composition and colours to abstractly expose the state of various human emotions, then further onwards to explore the relationships between him and his painting creation.

He has collaborated with local galleries and art spaces to hold joint exhibitions, such as 10 Chancery Lane Gallery, Mooroom, Openground, and 1a space.

黃文杰，生於一九九五年，於二零二零年香港浸會大學視覺藝術院取得學士學位。現居與工作於香港。他的創作靈感源自於個人的情感，以理性的方式表現出內心的感性，嘗試於在兩者之間探索平衡點。他著重於畫面呈現的細緻度及微妙性，運用不同繪畫技巧、簡單的構圖和顏色抽象地揭露各種人性情感的狀態，進而探究他與繪畫創作間互相影響的關係。

他曾與本地畫廊及藝術空間合作舉辦聯展，如10號贊善里畫廊，Mooroom，Openground以及1a space等藝術機構。
